DME and MCO hotel

Pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I thought I’d double-check anyway:

If we fly into MCO late on the day before our WDW check-in date, and grab a nearby hotel, can we shuttle back to the airport the next morning and walk our own bags onto DME? I think the answer is “yes”, but am not 100% positive.

I will probably just Uber/Lyft from the airport hotel to the resort, just for the sake of convenience. However, if my kids make noise about wanting to ride DME, I want to make sure I know my options.

I suggest Uber. Shuttles back to MCO are probably every 30 minutes. Use Uber and you'll probably get to your resort faster then it will take to get to airport

Thx. Yeah, I knew it was a common question. I was, to my discredit, just too lazy to go searching for it on my teeny phone screen.

Yes we usually stay the Country Inn and Suites. They have a free shuttle that runs till 11:00 p.m and free breakfast in the morning. Then shuttle back to MCO in the morning The hotel is 10 minutes from MCO

Higher rated, more expensive, airport zone hotels run their shuttle 24/7. A guest with a flight scheduled to land after 10, maybe even 9:30 should consider booking a different hotel. A taxi, or even Uber, fare might offset the savings. Flights get delayed and you sometimes have to wait for luggage.
