With many people going to DLRP over the Christmas period I thought I would start a thread for people to share their Christmas photos on.

So here are some of mine from last weekend.

Thanks for sharing your lovely photos. Only a week until I can see the decorations in real life. I'm starting to get in the festive mood now. I love the castle at Christmas.

WOW, what amazing photographs ... they are so pretty but the ones of the Castle are just breathtaking ... I wish we were going this December ! Can't wait to see some more :)

It was in the big shop on Main Street on your left as you look towards the castle. You walk past it if you are walking from the pin trading section to the christmas decoration section, it is near where all the princess dresses are. We walked past it many times last weekend Emma!! lol

:lmao:

I wasn't paying attention to the ceiling lol.

Lovely photos Karen, I especially like the Castle ones. Thanks for sharing:thumbsup2

Fantastic pictures Karen!! I hope I'll be able to take some nice night/light shots. What sort of setting do you set your camera to? I've just got a new camera (Panasonic Lumix TZ5) and I'm trying to play around with the settings. I should go out at night to test out the Xmas lights here first lol.

mummyal, my camera is a nikon D40x and most of the pictures were taken with my 18-75mm f3.5-5.6 lens. For the night shots I set the iso to either 800 or 1600. I am still getting used to my camera so I did use the programme mode so the camera could auto focus. Also some of the castle shots I used a tripod for. For the day time shots I had the iso set to 400 in the morning when it was misty and then 200 during the rest of the day. I have gotten loads of photography tips for when in the parks in the photography section of the dis boards. There are some really useful threads on there that are worth a read.

As for how busy the parks were, I though it was OK. I was there the previous week for Halloween and it was no where near as busy as it was then (and we were there during the week.) EMH was so quiet, I got so many pictures with no one else in them.
