DLR/WDW tickets

We're going to DLR in July and are planning on getting 3-day hopper passes. We've just found out that we have the opportunity to share my sister's timeshare near WDW in December. Is there any chance the tickets can be used at both parks (does DLR even have non-expiring tickets) if we buy say a 5-day hopper pass? We weren't planning on going to WDW so soon and need to save money!

You can use non-expiring WDW tickets at DL, but you cannot use DL tickets at WDW. I suppose you COULD buy WDW non-expiring hoppers and use them at DL (you have to trade them in each morning, day for a day, you can't just get a 3-day park-hopper up front), although I'm not sure if the tickets have to be activated at WDW first?
