Hi
Very seasoned WDW vet here taking fam to DLR. DH and I spent one day at DL in 2005, so we are somewhat familiar with the layout. We are staying at Park Vue Inn. Purchased touring plans.com for DLR but finding it strange and somewhat frustrating. Want to get some seasoned Disboards advice to compare. DH and I are going mid- Aug. with our 4.5 yr. old DD, 31 yr. old bro, and my 63 yr old parents. DD will want to do all the fun kids rides, plus she is tall and a thrill seeker, so depending on her tiredness and overwhelmed by all the cool stuff levels, we will be able to try Splash and Pirates with her (she rode them last summer at WDW). DH, Bro and dad and I love thrill rides and will go on whatever. My mom will try anything once, but I'm guessing she will rather hang with whoever is with my dd and do it on that type of pace. She loves rides like its a small world. Best part is that she has a new knee so mobility is no longer a problem! With all that being said, I'm looking for some touring suggestions for DL. We plan to spend 2 days there, and one at CA. We have a three day park hopper. Will need some sort of afternoon break, nap, refresh then I'm thinking back to the park for a couple hrs early evening. Any combo of my dad, bro, me and DH may end up going back or staying late to do any rides as well. Besides starting at Fantasyland for DD, how can we maximize other options, say I'd two in the party want to break off and do Space or another thrill ride? Thanks in advance an hopefully I haven't confused anyone further! :):)

Make sure you take advantage of your MM and FP while you are there. Hopefully, you can get Touring Plans figured out so you can at least print out a general idea of how to plan your day. For me...it always goes out the window anyway and we just let the magic guide us. :wizard:

Touringplans.com has touring plans (duh :)) for DLR. I prefer plans developed by RideMax because you have more control over the reides. www.ridemax.com.
