DLR to LAX commute on a Wed morning? Traffic?

Hi all,
Heaps of thanks for all the great advice and info I've gotten here so far...

Looking for best transportation option from L.A. traffic pros on the forum. On Jan 4 we fly out of LAX at 10:30am and need to make sure we're there at least 2 hours ahead (international flight). Is Uber or Lyft a safe bet for morning commute from DLR (Harbour hotel) to LAX? How much time should we budget?
Was thinking we'd need to request a ride around 6:30am just to be on safe side?

Google Maps has a great traffic estimator tool on their website that you can play with times so see what expected traffic would be.

Go to GoogleMaps.com and enter LAX, click DIRECTIONS then enter start point. There will then be a drop down menu that says "LEAVE NOW" and you can play with times to see traffic based on departure or arrival times.

I think 6:30 should be safe. You'll likely be at the airport an hour later, but it gives you some pad just in case. Another option is moving to an airport hotel for that one night before the flight.
