DLR scooter recommendations

I just found out that my husband has to spend the next 12 weeks on crutches. So it looks like he will need a scooter for our trip to DL and Legoland. Can anyone recommend a scooter company in So. Cal.? We are staying at the Grand Californian and the Legoland hotel. Thanks for your help!

Disneyland does not have the preferred vendor system that WDW has.

We are going to use Apple or Scootaround. We are staying at the Grand Californian 2 nights
pre-cruise this October.
