So I'm doing the whole "wake up early to get an ADR" for the sixty seconds they're available and I got to thinking.

I can't wait for churros.

I can't wait for Ghirardelli sundaes.

I can't wait for the red wagon corn dog.

I can't wait for a cool mint julep and hot beignets

All these are walk up or clicking on the app though. If you use the app, it's minutes and you're back to the park.

I was able to snag my reservations (Blue Bayou and Lamp Light Lounge) which made me happy to get them because my son asked to go to the pirates restaurant, but after a few days I keep thinking about the new San Fransokyo offerings or that garlic cheese bun thing. I have good memories in Blue Bayou, but the Monte Cristo sandwich made me feel sick last time.

Every restaurant in WDW was nice, but nothing that made me want to go back. There are good restaurants around WDW, but the food inside just wasn't the same. I've been twice and both times were awesome, but the food was just ok.

Anyone else feel the same? What makes DLR so much better to eat?

Smaller Park (Regional Vs International), smaller footprint, smaller crowds to prepare for.... I don't disagree with you at all, but I also realize that the ENORMOUS amount of food that needs to be prepared at WDW restaurants must make it difficult to be efficient and delicious consistently. I do have favorites there, though. I think there are a lot of good options at both QS and TS. Love those DLR Churros, for sure!
