hi all,

so we just got back from our 2011 DLR trip - our first ever o/seas trip, our first DLR trip and we are in love. walked into the front gates of DLR and are planning our trip back in 2012 already.

so... i'm thinking that since this time we went from nov 6-8 and missed the halloween period, and were too early for any of the xmas stuff, and we went the only weekend where there were NO FIREWORKS :scared1: i want the next trip to be a massive holiday celebration...

so i was thinking... what if we go for the halloween party at the end of oct, go away for a week or so to other places (vegas/ny etc) and then come back to DLR during nov (maybe around 12th or so) when the xmas fireworks and decorations are up ???

is this possible? are my dates ok? any suggestions on feasibility of doing this???

fyi. this is a surprise for my b/f who i'm hoping will be my fiancee by the time we pull this off :)

That would be awesome and a great way to start and end a trip to the USA.

The only big negative I see is the Halloween parties sell out the quickest for Halloween day. The date should be announced in July.

If tradition follows they would have a party on the the 30th and then Wednesday the 31st, Halloween day.

The unsure thing which may be a problem is when the Holidays start. Next year with the late Halloween is going to squeeze the time to switch decorations. Holiday Season may have a soft start on Fiday the 9th and a hard start on Monday the 12th. But what is they need another week to get the parks ready?

off to do this right now... in fact... thinking of doing a short stint in magic kingdom and epcot at WDW while we're in orlando... we've been bitten by the disney bug hard... and we're also fanatical pin traders now... gotta buy some more soon so we have heaps to trade when we go :)

also trying to work up a budget for our big Disney trip for 2012 :)
