I know you can order the Jack ears online at the Disney Store....not sure about the Halloween ones, but they also have candy corn ears.

I am so sorry about your dad. We were in the same situation in September. My FIL was admitted to the hospital a week before our trip (at the time we thought he had a stroke). We thought for sure we were going to have to cancel our trip. We ended up being able to go. Hopefully it will work out the same way for you. Fingers crossed.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Tiggerholic - not only because you won't be able to go, but, more importantly, because I'm sure you're very concerned about your dad. There will always be other DLR Halloween Time trips.

Are you sure you can't get any of the money back on the trip? Not even some of it? I hope you can, or it's such a waste!!

I can empathize because, even though my situation has nothing to do with a family member becoming ill, I have hit nothing but roadblocks in trying to sketch out some sort of semblance of a DLR Halloween Trip. Every time I think I have the plan in place, something comes up to put a bug hurdle in my way. I'm starting to think it's just a 'sign' that I should not bother with Halloween Time this year. Trouble is, I want to go to DLR for the holiday season, no matter what. I just hope I don't encounter the same issues for that trip as I did for this one.

As for the merchandise, I don't know the number off hand, but if you look online for "Disneyland DelivEARS," you will find a phone number for the direct line for merchandise at DLR. Even though the Disney Store has some things you can get in the parks, they don't have as many things as you will find through Disneyland DelivEARS. You can ask the CM for anything they might have available.

Otherwise, Laughing Place should have a lot of the Halloween items - if not now, then soon after Halloween Time ends.

So sorry to hear that you Dad is ill--I don't know about DLR (maybe someone can jump in here and answer?), but at WDW there is a phone number you can call (it may even be printed on the receipt from the various park souvenir shops) and if you can identify the WDW merchandise that you need (usually a replacement item, say something you bought got lost etc) they can sell you another and ship it. Hopefully DLR has something similar...

Thank you all for the well wishes for my dad. I ran home to grab some dinner and then heading back to the hospital and hopefully, the surgeon will have been in or will be in shortly.

Also, thanks for letting me know about the Jack ears being available online Hopefully I can find some other Halloween stuff I was looking forward to getting.

Sherry_E - This past August 15th was the 1 yr anniversary of my mom passing and in that year we have become so close that I absolutely feel HORRIBLE even thinking about coninuing with this trip. At 82, who is to say how long he has. Thanks sooo much for the info on the Disneyland DelivEARS. The Laughing Place, is that a website or a store?

I do have a friend who's mom and dad are down in DLR now, so I'll call her and see if her mom can get me a couple of Mickey Popcorn buckets.

Well, dad is not going to require surgery and my brother is coming from CO to stay with dad when he comes home or visit with him in the hospital, JUST so DH and I can go on our trip Tuesday

I'm soooo happy I waited a bit and didn't cancel it right away Of course I have quite a bit of guilt in leaving dad, period. I mean the guy is 82 and is having a rough patch, but I know my dad will enjoy my brother's company.
