Just saw the thread about the meet and greet. What other benefits does our Visa get us? Dining discounts? Do we get 10% off at the World of Disney store like in WDW?

There are dining discounts of 10% off at "select locations". I believe there is a list of current locations at the Disney Visa website. It changes occasionally. When in doubt, just ask. You get 10% off purchases of $50 or more (certain exclusions apply, probably media and fine art since those are usually excluded) at Disney shops including WoD.

Cool, I'll check out the Visa site. Is it ALL shops? That'd be awesome!

I have used my card for 10% off at Rancho Zocala (I think thats the name).

Ahhh just read the link above me and see that they may have changed restaurants since I got my discount in Feb.! OOps

Not to hijack the thread and this might seem like a dumb question but do you have to pay with your Visa card to get the discount? I would think you would but I just want to make sure.

Years ago you didn't have to do so, but the last time it came up for us (we have APs now so haven't needed the Visa discount for a while), the CM explained that you must use your Disney Visa or your Disney Visa rewards card to pay for the purchase in order to get the discount. You can get the discount with a partial payment, such as if you use a Disney gift card that has less money on it than the total bill to pay first and then your Visa card for the remaining balance.

I was at World of Disney store not too long ago and I ordered a giclee painting. A worker told me if I have the Disney visa, I would be able to get 10% off and anything/everything in the store. But I read the small print visa rules that art and collections is restricted. So, I am a bit confused what the worker told me...

Wow, that has recently changed! I just checked it again and no more stroller discount, no more Rancho Del Zocalo discount, and no more Goofy's kitchen discount... Sad day.

I do think Steakhouse 55 used to be a discount only during breakfast before, so that is a slight improvement. But otherwise, the changes are no good. IMHO...
