I know I signed up for a lot and I dont want you to worry.
I want to give you my overall plan of attack now that I have my summer swaps set.
I am within 20 pages of finishing the cruise part of the Baltics and I am on this mind set that it will be done before we go next week. So...
1) finish cruise pages
2) work on summer exchange as we go~ current and waiting
3) work on Surprise swap
4) DL/DCA swap
I am most likely not going to start this swap until we get back unless I am doing something for Surprise which would also work for DL.
This is one of my favorite swaps and it doesnt happen very often so I am going to baby it, but I just didnt want you to worry.

Question Rachel.....if I'm using clipart pics do I still double mat them? and does that count as embellished???



also, was looking around on-line last night for some ideas for DLR hotel....wasn't finding anything clip art wise...mostly photos of the hotel....I am having a block on what to do for it....any ideas ?????

Ummmmm, can i see it? and I will let you know? when I do clip art squares I do it both ways double matted and not. I also add a little something to the picture like stickles. So lets see and I can say for sure

I can always chalk the edges of my mats too! I have my clip art printed out on photo paper, just need to trim and mat....hope to show photos later today!....its for Cars Land

ok... the new pool area was redone with the retro monorail theme to it. The pool has a slide that has 2 monorails that go down on either side for you to slide thru. The restaurants by the pool now have a tiki lounge feel to them (they are Trader Sam's (Enchanted Tiki Bar) and Tangaroa Terrace (casual island dining). So you could always do something with a tropical feel for those. You could do ones representing Goofy (he is ususally found hanging out in the check in area of the hotel - or it could be used for Goofy's Kitchen that is there at the hotel as well). Hopefully that gives you a couple of ideas.

Ok so this is not usually an issue, but I just want to remind everyone of the bagging instructions for this swap. If you CANNOT follow the directions please let me know and we can angel your spots.

This will be a huge swap to sort out and get back to you and if we have pieces just thrown in one bag it will make things un-necessarily difficult to do. So please review the instructions and ask questions if need be.
