Good Evening!!

Wondering, for you ladies who have travelled to DLP while pregnant, what were your experiences?

Will have someone about 12-16 weeks along, and wondering about rides? Are there any, at that gestation, that you avoided? Or were you not concerned at that point?

Any adice and thougths would be appreciated:goodvibes

Hi

I didn't go to DLP when I was pregnant but went to WDW when I was 11 weeks and came back when I was 13 and a half weeks. There are a lot of rides I had to avoid and some I didn't even think I would have to. I will only mention the rides I know are in DLRP but Space Mountain, Autopia, ToT, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain, Star Tours, Crush's Coaster, Rock n Roller Coaster for definite. I am unsure whether or not she might WANT to ride the teacups, but it wouldn't be recommended for nausea.

I certainly wouldn't go back to WDW pregnant, but that is just me. I unfortunately suffered terribly with nausea, I had to wear bands on my wrist most of the time and the smell of certain things brought on sickness very unexpectedly. I also found if I was suddenly hungry, I had to eat there and then or I was sick almost instantaneously:rotfl2: I also developed my cravings while at the parks and spent 90 minutes searching for a ham sandwich! (my cravings were quite normal!).

The best advice I can give if you have to go is take plenty of breaks as she will likely get tired, sometimes surprisingly so. Eat little and often to avoid nausea throughout the day and don't miss meals. Drink plenty, always carry water around. Get a good sleep every night. Don't overdo it as you will pay for it the next day. Stay out of the sun whenever possible as you burn much quicker when pregnant. Also make sure you get checked by your doctor to get the all clear before you go, even if it is for peace of mind.

If you do all these things then it should be a great holiday, albeit a much more relaxing one.
