Last December at WDW, I treated our party to a Disney VIP Guide for the day, it was a wonderful experience - we loved every minute of it. When I returned I enquired whether DLP had the same service and this is the reply I recieved.

I thought I would share it with the board incase anyone has a special trip coming up and they want to splurge on something really special :goodvibes

Dear Madam,

Disney's VIP Tour Services enables Guests to experience Disneyland® Resort Paris in a new and carefree way.

VIP Tour Guides will customize their visit by arranging special seating for parades and live stage shows and at the distinctive restaurants at the Resort.

Professional and knowledgeable, VIP Tour Guides will also share their personal insight and experience throughout the tour.

Currently Disneyland Resort Paris Resort does not offer a service that allows Guests to bypass the lines of our attractions, however our VIP Tour Guides can enhance their Guest's experience in our theme parks by:

- Using their knowledge of our resort to device an action plan that will allow Guests to see the most attractions in the least amount of time

- Providing their Guests with facilitated access to FastPass attractions (where minor wait times may be encountered).

Fees for VIP Tour Service are as follows:

- A minimum fee of 320 EUR, per Guide, for four (4) consecutive hours

- Extra hours : 80 EUR per hour per Guide.

Terms and Conditions :

- A VIP Tour Guide can host up to a maximum of 10 Guests (including private security). If the group has more than 10 people they will need an additional VIP Tour Guide. The second VIP Tour Guide will be charged at the same rate as the first VIP Tour Guide.

- If the Guests wish to take a break during their VIP Tour, they will be charged for those hours, as their VIP Tour Guide will be on-hold for them during their break.

- Children under 18 years old can not be left alone with the Guide and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

Payment for the tour can be made...

- in advance by credit card;

- or at the beginning of the tour (at City Hall at the Disneyland Park or Studios Services at the Walt Disney Studios) by credit card, travellers' cheques or cash

- or the tour can be charged to your room account if you are staying in one of the Disney Hotels.

- Park admission is not included in the hourly rate.

Theme Parks Admission : Our "Hopper" ticket gives you unlimited admission to both theme parks on one same day. Prices are as follows :

Adult - 1 Day "Hopper" : 54 EUR Child - 1 Day "Hopper" : 46 EUR

If you have booked a package in one of our on-site hotels, the above information does not apply to you as tickets should already be included in your package.

In order to confirm your reservation, we kindly ask that you fax us the following information in the shortest delay:

· Name of the VIP (Title, status, etc...)

· Number of persons in the party;

· Which language does the VIP speak?

· Will the VIPs and their party stay in a Disney Hotel ? If so, which one?

· How long will they stay at Disneyland® Resort Paris?

· Where and when should the Guide meet the VIP ?

Should you have any more questions concerning our services, feel free to contact us again.

There are a few differences from the WDW VIP Services, which has a minimum of 6 hours, the guide was alone with the children several times - taking them on rides while the adults did some shopping etc... and every ride we were let straight in the Fast Pass lane, even riding a couple times in a row. The CM's treated our party like royalty, it was just the best day I've ever had at WDW. :cloud9:

I red some stories about the VIP Tour from WDW and there it must be realy worth the money!

But the DLRP doesn’t sound great. If I translate your answer all that’s left is:

A CM will walk with you through the park and will tell you some stories!

You don’t get a VIP FP and you can’t bypass the waiting lines.
And if you are a fan or a member of the DIS board then you know the following for yourself and you don’t need a VIP tour!

- Using their knowledge of our resort to device an action plan that will allow Guests to see the most attractions in the least amount of time

2 years ago we had the regular tour for 15€ in the main park. We were alone with our CM and she told us some interesting facts (but for a fan nothing new!) about the park. The highlight was the behind the scenes look at Star Tours. I can recommend that Tour to every one but I would love to hear some experience of the VIP Tour! I can’t imagine that is worth the money!?

I am not going to treat myself Ware Bears, I plan on staying Castle Club so I will have the fastpasses anyway.

At WDW our guide told us about the many celebrities/royalty/executives that use this service for their trips to the world - including as mentioned in the DLP letter - bringing their private security etc...

This level of customer is backdoored, transported in the tunnels etc... it's a whole other world :)

marcus.ka, I know the 'official policy' is that VIP services guest do not get priority admitance to rides and attractions, but unofficially, based on my true life experience - this does happen. Also, the reserved seating is a big bonus, you arrive moments before the show/attraction starts and are ushered to your reserved 2nd row seats :)

And if you are a fan or a member of the DIS board then you know the following for yourself and you don’t need a VIP tour!

I agree, I was speaking to a CM at the DLH and he said I should get a job as a VIP tour guide as I knew the parks so well. :rotfl:
