Hello. I am from the US and plan to visit DLP Jan 3- Jan 7. I have been reading the trip reports to get an idea of how the weather is with the rides. So all the rides still run when it snows? I am so use to WDW where it never snows and freezes so I am just amazed about going to a Disney park in actual snow

I know a few people who went these past 2 months, and at time all outdoor rides were closed because it was snowing that heavily.
And it did go below 0 for quite sometime last month.

I personally wouldn't go in January, but more beginning of December beginning of February.

Thank you for the feedback! Unfortunately we can't change the dates since we are already booked for Disneyland in Anaheim first, then WDW, then DLP. We are going to 3 Disney parks in 2 weeks time for our Ultimate Disney trip and we want to go during the holiday decorations. So we will just have to take a chance. We are in DLP for 4 days so I am sure we will get to ride everything eventually.

what a great plan :). Be aware though, DLP's main refurb season is from January to March each year, so you may find some rides closed for the duration of your trip (but you won't know which ones, if any, until around 2 months before you go to DLP).

That is why we are going New Years week. Refurbs usually start the week after New Years when the park attendance goes down and the christmas decorations start to be put away. And that's another reason I don't want to go later, because most rides are refurbished in the winter months
