We're planning on going in June and are wondering if there are any discounts that usually happen during that time? If there are, when do they usually come out and what are they? TIA!!

yes there will probably be discounts for an onsite stay at DLP for June - depending on how many nights you are looking to stay there may be offers already on sale. Check the UK version of the DLP site, plus others (France, Netherlands etc etc) to see what offers, if any, are out there for your dates.

If there are no decent offers, then hang on in there and keep looking - they'll turn up eventually. No-one knows what offer will come out, its just a case of looking at the price and seeing if that price suits you. Generally speaking, I look for a 40% off full price or equivalent (so if staying 4 nights, 2 nights free for example), and consider that a fair price for DLP onsite hotel packages.

Also, you might want to consider offsite but nearby - there is loads of accommodation in the resort area. Then you could get your own park tickets or annual passes.

I see you are a family of 5, is that right? There are very few family rooms for 5 onsite, and they often don't attract big discounts on packages, so you might be better looking for 2 rooms, or offsite, where there is a far wider range of accommodation suitable for 5 guests. The Davy Crockett Ranch might also work out for you, if you are driving to DLP?

We are also going to visit DLP in June, en route to Barcelona for the 7nt Med cruise on the Disney Magic. I just called DLP reservations line (an international call) yesterday, and was informed that US consumers cannot book a resort stay online or through their reservations call center until Feb. 7th. If you try to book online currently, you will see that the dates are open up until April 2nd but not beyond. It is different for UK residents as they have a different web site for reservations, but I am a little leery making a reservation as a US resident using the UK site. Others I can see feel the same.

I'm hoping DLP will offer a package deal for the summer months, because right now the prices seem astronomical to me for a 2 night stay/2 or 3 day passes to the parks. If and when I find more out, I'll be sure to share on this thread.

Many US visitors book via the UK site or one of the other European sites without any problems. Everything is sent to you via Email, you just need to enter your US address leaving the country as UK when you book.

You will save many $$$$ booking this way compared to booking on the official US site for DLP American visitors. Booking any trip to DLP on the US site will make a trip extremely expensive.
