I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure that they hold recruitment days in the Uk and that there was one a few months ago. If I was 30 years younger I would have loved to work there, I still would now, come to think of it. :rotfl:

When my youngest was in in Reception they had a talk about what they wanted to be when they grew up, his teacher told me that naturally there were the usual doctors, nurses, policemen etc. and Liam who "wanted to sell the big hotdogs at Disneyland !" :rotfl:

Bless him!! :lmao: :lmao:

I'm sure a poster once gave the link where they advertise for CMs in the UK too. I'll see if I can find it.

Thank you :goodvibes

Good luck avviexxx :wizard: What area would you like to work at DLRP in?

Hi, I'm hoping to audition for DLP at the end of jan, does anyone know if you can just turn up with your CV and photo or do you have to send that in advance and be sent a set audition time?

Thanks everyone. Im hoping to dress up as character, if not would love to work on potc, btm,pm,RnR coaster or TOT..x

That site has nothing on it about jobs workin on rides?? + do i have to speak french? Or do they teach you what you need to say? Do they provide you with acomodation?..x

From what i have learnt off their websites, DLP will put you up with accomodation for 1-6 months depending on contract, and then after that they will help you find somewhere of you own, generally you would be sharing with at least one other person. I dont think you have to be able to speak fluent french, although being able to speak some might help you a bit for when you are out of the disney complex and wanting to just do day to day things like shopping, ordering food/drink etc. There is a college at disney where you are allowed to go to help improve you French and other languages.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that you have to be fluent (or near enough) in French, and one other European language...

Yes - I think this is right, a friend worked there for the summer in between uni and she was fluent in french and german.

Well i will be studying french at college in april for a year. + hopefully that will be enough..x

For certain jobs you have to be fluent in French & another language. For other jobs you can get away with very basic french.

I read some on the internet, can't remember where now a person who auditioned for a role which involved the parade I think & she said at the audition they just kept setting you exercise type things to do to see how fit you were & to how long you could keep up the task set. Due to the parade/character roles being physically demanding.
