We're staying two nights at the DLH hotel this fall, and I'm super excited! It's a bit of a splurge, but the new rooms look sooooo nice.
I've been reading the DLH super thread and it's got lots of useful info, but I was wondering if anyone had advice for how to get a good room and how/when to ask. We booked a standard room, and I know that someone's got to end up in the low floors in the farthest away room with a view of the parking lot, but it can't hurt to ask for a better room.
What's your favorite tower? Are some standard rooms better than others? When's the best time to make requests?
I'm sure we'll have a magical time no matter where we end up, but I'd love to hear your DLH room request tips!

Requests are best filled when the hotel is slowest and has the most rooms available. This is often during offseason. Check out days like Sunday. Or when rooms have been cleaned.

The Adventure Tower is nice beause it only has resort and pool views. It's also closer to the parks. The Fantasy and Frontier towers have the Standard Rooms, they look north and south at parking lots. There are a few special standard rooms with obstucted views. I know this is mentioned in the DLh Superthread about standards that view the pool area.
