Hi,

I am trying to figure out the new theming at the DLH. At least one restaurant and bar are tropical themed. But then the pool is monorail themed? I'm not sure what they are doing with the rooms.

It seem a little disjointed to me. Like taking WDW's Polynesian and mixing it with the Contemporary. I really WANT the new refurbs to be great but I think it would be nicer if it was all cohesive. I confess, I'd preferred they stick with the tiki theme for the pool too.

Any thoughts from those who have been there?

The new DLH is being themed after classic Disneyland. So the new bar and dining are at the base of the Adventure Tower. The Frontier Tower is to the south and has geysers at its base. The last tower being worked on is Fantasy, and we have yet to see how the pool will be. Other than some small elements in the lobby of each tower all of the rooms are the same. There are some specialty suites though.
