DLH or PPH which one and why?

I would love you input on which hotel you would pick and why. Any pictures? Pool wise which one is better for a 4 year old?

PS can't afford GCH this time. Have stayed there and loved it.

I have stayed at both and prefer Paradise Pier Hotel. I love the beach theme and the fact that some rooms overlook California Adventure. The pool at the Disneyland Hotel is amazing though and would be a lot of fun for children.

Well, I just learned this reading a post from disney-super-mom & thought I'd pass it on. She said that DLH has a swim test for its slide but PPH does not. So you may want to consider that.

Else, I'd vote for DLH if your little one can swim due to it's pirate boat theming at the pool, & proximity to monorail, laundry facilities (as I recall PPH doesn't have their own machines but I haven't stayed there in years), remote control boats on the little pond, waterfall area, & market (as before I don't remember a little market in PPH, but that was long ago). Also if you do Goofy's normally, it's just down stairs but you could also say the same for Lilo & Stitch @ PPH.
