I was just having a look at the DLP website. We're considering taking my sister with us next time we go, so I was looking at hotels that can accommodate 5 plus an infant rather than going for 2 rooms. Looking at the DLH it says that a family room for up to 5 people would do it, but I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what's in these rooms in the way of beds?

Also I'm guessing since it's the DLH there would be plenty room for the travel cot that would also have to be added, but if anyone could confirm that the room would still be big enough to be a luxury experience and not a sardine experience?

Family Rooms Have two double beds and a bed settee for the 5th person. Our Room was bigger than a standard and their would be plenty room for a travel cot. It was a corner room as the corridor sort of bends round. I don't know if it was just luck but when we got two 15th anniversary mugs full of sweets, flowers and bottled water in the room. We got none of these things in our standard room. I also thought the service we got from housekeeping was much better but this could have just been a coincidence:confused3 I did wonder whether they thought they would get a bigger tip because we were in a family room:confused3

:rotfl2: Maybe. Thanks for that :thumbsup2 It actually works out cheaper to go for 2 rooms at the Cheyenne than it does for one at the DLH, but we really want to try the DLH so we'll just have to wait and see. We wont be going back until next year now anyway. Great help though, thanks a lot.

Odd - I think we ended up with one of these rooms on our most recent trip, even though we stayed in a standard room as ours was exactly as you have described - a corner room with two doubles and a sofa.

I'd agree though - the room certainly felt nice and roomy for the 4 of us (3 adults and a 10 year old).
