DLH: Coffee in rooms

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I had a quick question about coffee in rooms at the DLH. Do they happen to have Keurigs and if so, what kind of pods are used?

I've had a big year and have a big birthday coming up in October, so I'm considering a solo trip to celebrate - my first ever DLR trip. I am leaning toward DLH, and maybe even splurging on Concierge. I'd love to take my own Keurig English breakfast tea pods, since I'm fairly certain that's the only way I'll get decent hot tea, even with Concierge...

The regular rooms have a pod-style coffee machine. The Villas have Keurigs from the pictures I've seen. I think the theme suites at DLH have Keurigs as well.

From what I understand (and can confirm by Google), they are just regular small hotel-room coffee makers, not Keurig.

If I were you, I'd take some tea bags. Just run the coffee maker with no coffee for hot water, and put several tea bags in there, using it like a tea pot. (I like PG Tips, myself.)

We were just there last week in a premium view room. Pod-style, definitely NOT a Keurig. You're better off buying coffee elsewhere!

They are Cuisinart pod "coffee makers", and they are useless :headache:
Photo is from GCH, but DLH concierge room had the same type:

Concierge lounge has a commercial Nespresso machine, which makes decent coffee. Hot water and tea bags are available, but you could always bring your own special tea :goodvibes

Having stayed at the DLH many times and used the coffee pots many times. I will offer these observations: the coffee would be best used for an "interrogation tool" at Gitmo. However, they operate quite well for making "Hot Water" for making tea. ::yes::

Haha!!!! We had the same first world problem at PPH. They have the same coffee makers and we were so dismayed by our inability to have a decent cup of coffee.

I honestly didn't think the coffee offered and the pod-extraction was all that bad. Its not what I was used to normally drinking, but it was passable.

Eeek! Let's agree to disagree! Lol and who wants passable coffee on vacation?!
And there was no way I was waiting 45 mins at Starbucks.

Well... when you are drinking your coffee at 5am, a intravenous shot of caffiene is about all you are after.

Let's agree to agree :goodvibes

The in-room coffee makers at GCH (and DLH) have been changed over the years, and each time they seem to make worse coffee. I bring a water kettle and simple cone filter holders to drip coffee directly into travel mugs
A little bulky for air travel, but great on road trips :thumbsup2

One more person agreeing that the coffee in a standard room at DLH was lackluster at best.

I ended up going down to the coffee shop near goofy's kitchen every morning and bringing it back up to the rooms for the adults.
