So, DH broke his hand last night at Taekwondo so suddenly he's totally free for 4-6 weeks. We're thinking about making a last minute, super-low-budget trip to DLR. We'd go the first week of December... which was our plan all along, except we were planning on 2009!

My question is whether there are restrictions for him on rides if he still has a cast on. Are there any rides they won't allow him to ride? He'll be totally bummed if he has to miss ToT or Screamin' or Space Mtn.

Anyone have experience here???

I think he'd be ok with a wrist on his arm/wrist. There might be restrictions with a leg cast but I can't imagine having problem with an arm/wrist. I'm sure I've seen people at the parks with slings.....

Have fun on your trip!!

DH had his arm in a cast one trip and he was fine at both DL and DCA. No one stopped him from riding anything but he didn't go on any rides where the cast might get wet (Splash, rapids, etc) so I don't know if a CM would have stopped him on those but unless you bring a garbage bag to cover his arm I would avoid those anyway. Otherwise depending on how sore his arm is you may want to avoid really bumpy rides such as Indiana Jones, that one hurt DH unless he tucked his arm close to his chest and held it still.
