DL- Week Before Easter

Is it typically croweded the week before Easter Sunday? I am looking at the first week of April, 2012. I know schools/colleges have varies weeks for spring break. We would be staying a Mon - Wed. Thanks for any comments...

In a word, yes. I was at DLR last week Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It was busy, especially Friday. Wednesday saw a drip in attendance because of the adverse weather reports and it seems a lot of people left early because it got cold (at least for SoCal). I was at the parks open to close.

Can you still do it sure, but really learn the fast pass system and expect to use the early morning (8-11am).

So are you looking at 2011 or 2012?

FWIW 2012 will bring the completion of the DCA refurb. There will be some very crowded times in April-June 2011 and 2012 because of the new things and AP holders.

Thanks for your help! Ok, that will be a NO for the week before Easter! I have points I need to use in the spring 2011. Looking for a down time before June.

If your schedule is flexible, I think you shouldn't have a problem finding a down time with good park hours. Friday was blocked out for passes up to Deluxe and it was the busiest day. For me the park doesn't have to be dead and I prefer longer park hours. I usually only go for a day at a time from open to close or pop in for a few hours.

Actually, probably more like 2012. Did not know about the refurb. Hmmmm, maybe March then? But then I am looking at some spring break crowds. Thanks for your link, I'm going there now.
