DL to LAX

We are staying at the DL hotel and will be leaving on a Thursday at 12pm from LAX. What time should we leave the hotel? We will check in on-line and check luggage curbside if they have it. Thanks!

I keep reading that you need to give yourself an hour and a half to travel to LAX... when we went in Oct, our travel time was right around 30 minutes each way (9 am on a Wed, and 5:15 pm on a Sat...) we also had hired a private car to drive us... check-in etc (we carried on our bags) took no time at all, and then we were stuck in our terminal with no stores, or decent places to eat (Starbucks and BK), for 2.5 hours.

Anyhow... just saying be prepared either way... if the traffic doesn't tie you up--you will be having a very dull wait at LAX.
