DL the week BEFORE Superbowl......

How are the crowds then? I went with my family to DL just this past February over Superbowl weekend. Although it wasn't summer crowded, you can tell a LOT of people have caught on over the years that it's a good time to go. Just curious if the week before is a little more relaxed.

I heard it rained that weekend and it wasn't crowded at all.

We were at DL Jan 25 -31 it was colder than I have ever felt in my live anywhere. It rained sideways on sunday the 27. I wore my poncho but I was so wet from my knees down I was freezing and I had on a winter coat and my walking shoes were squishy squashy and took 2 days to dry!! The wind would just cut through you like a ginsu knife.

DL was deserted. But the misery almost wasn't worth it.

It rained in the morning. It wasn't crowded for the first few hours.

I took the Amtrak down last year to check out the parks, and I had a fun time during the Super Bowl. But, yes, it was slightly busier than I expected.

But that doesn't mean the attraction lines themselves were bad.
