I have seen people talk about the list of snacks and treats that DL has that you will not ever find at WDW. Since I am still at DL noob can anyone help me with making a list of these must try snacks? And also maybe where to find them.

The most commonly mentioned one is Tigger Tails (Marshmallow Wand with Orange-Colored Sugar), available at Pooh's Corner in Critter Country. There are also Mickey-shaped beignet at the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square, along with the (non-alcoholic) Mint Julep.

I think there are a fair amount of unique presentation for treats at DLR, but there are probably items at are similar at WDW. For example, I mentioned the Mickey beignets; PORFQ has beignets too, but they're not Mickey-shaped. Ditto for the Tigger Tails...they sell marshallow wands at WDW too, but they don't look like Tigger Tails.

Another "unique" treat to DLR are the freshly made candies (e.g., nuttles, peanut brittle, fudgmallows, English toffee, etc.) that they make at the Candy Palace on Main Street.

The corn dogs on Main Street are yummy. I'm not sure they have those at Walt Disney World.

My best advise is head to Jolly Holiday Bakery. They have a lot of amazing treats there. Too many to describe, but the seasonal whoopie pie has always been great.

The Matterhorn Macaroon is at Jolly Holiday - I'd imagine that's a DL exclusive.

The Tigger Tails are one of our must haves at DL. Also, check out Bengal BBQ in Adventureland. Their skewers are pretty great.

Also, not really a snack but a small meal is a Bengal BBQ kebob. My mouth waters just thinking of the sauces they use.

Wow thanks guys this is really helpful I know the one snack I found was all the food at the cones in cars land. It has been about a year since i have been to DCA and the last time I was there they had a Grape Slush thing that was named after Doc Hudson. I think it is now named after Red and it is a red slush now either way...YUM!

Have NEVER been to WDW and have no desire to go BUT, I do have a couple of snack items I enjoy at DL/DCA. At DL, in the very back of Critter Country, is a gift shop, go to the very back of it. Here they make their own FUDGE and sell it of course. It is some of the best FUDGE on the planet, I think any way:genie:.
In DCA go to the Corn Dog Castle( just ask any CM for directions ), order a Hot Link Corndog. Put a little spicy mustard on that and enjoy. It will wake up your taste buds ! ! ! !
I travel a lot and dine in many types of restaurants, Disney parks in California is the only place I can find those two items pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Alas, all marshmallow wands are not created equal :) As a marshmallow wand connoissuier (I only half jest) the Tigger Tail concoction is the best of the lot. The wands are not interchangeable with just different colored sugar coating. Other wands have different ingredients (such as dipped in milk chocolate instead of caramel and white chocolate) or have jelly beans or m&m's decorating the outside (instead of a chocolate drizzle.) Really, truly, the ingredient combination of the Tigger Tail makes it the BEST and a DL exclusive!

You're probably thinking of Doc's Wild Grape Tonic (Sprite with Grape Syrup). The one named after Red is Red's Apple Freeze, which is the same as LaFou's Brew served at Gaston's Tavern (no foam on top, but same basic drink).

When I was a kid, my favorite treat at DL was a frozen banana. When I finally got to visit WDW (probably 25 years ago) and went to get my favorite treat, I found out they didn't have frozen bananas. Maybe it's changed since then?

I'm pretty sure WDW has the same frozen bananas that DLR sells at their ice cream novelty carts. I recall seeing them at WDW last October.

I don't think DLR has ice cream cookie sandwiches on a regular basis. Both Gibson Girl and Clarabelle's offer cones and sundaes (and Clarabelle's has hand-dipped bars), but no cookie option on a daily basis. I know Gibson Girl had a special/limited time ice cream sandwich for the 24-hour day.

Thanks, I was deleting my post because I realized I was talking about the opposite that the OP was asking for. You were too fast for me but thanks for answering!

Now keep in mind that this was 13 years ago but I remember not being able to find churros at WDW. Or at least not as plentiful as they are at DL.
