We stayed in a lovely concierge room at the Disneyland Hotel.
The room is a regular hotel room- but nice sized. 2 queen beds and a daybed. It was DH & I and our then 14 & 17 yr old DS's.
We had a view of the pool. No balcony, but there was a sliding glass door (and railing) you could open to let in fresh air and hear the wonderful sounds of the resort.
It's not a villa- no fridge or microwave. But since we were in concierge- we enjoyed snacks and drinks whenever we wanted.
We hope to return in 2009- and will stay at the Disneyland Hotel again if the Grand Californian Villas are not ready by then.
We just had a reg. standard room. However, we requested the main building that checkin was at...and high floor. Our request was granted...and what a VIEW we got!!! We saw MK's fireworks from our room. It was awesome!!!! 2 Queen beds and they were comfortable. No frig. or micro. IF your family likes to hang out at the pool...DL has the best pool area out of the 3 DL hotels:
We even stayed at the GC and it reminded us alot of WL. However, this cost us more pts. Our room had a view of the CA theme park and from our balcony we heard the band planning and saw the NYE's fireworks to ring in the NY!!!
They are regular hotel rooms.
No microwave for sure.
It may be possible to get a fridge- but we did not have one at concierge level in 2004. I do not know if they rent them or not.
We actually had a fridge in a non-concierge level Grand Californian room in 2003. It was there when we arrived and was in essence a mini-bar (ergo, already stocked with items that you are charged ridiculous prices for). We had the bellman remove it.
I stayed at Paradise Pier last month in a standard park view room. It was average size hotel room with a small fridge. I'd say comparable to a deluxe at WDW except no balcony.

Great pics, I now remember them. I like the standard park view. I can't wait to try this one and or Grand Californian. I like the pts. better at Paradise Pier concierge.
