DL park reservations question

So I am visiting family on the west coast and will be in Disneyland Nov 8-11.
I want to use my self admission to get in to the parks since it’s just me. Right now the days on the reservation calendar show blue with a slash through it. does this mean they haven’t been released to us yet?

They open one day at a time at 60 days out. Grab them right away, to be safe. You can reserve only 3 days, but I discovered you can reserve 3 under self admit, and 3 under MEP.

Adding to the DL CM park reservation thing. So I had a day booked as self admit, and after using one of my MEP days, I was eligible for another MEP day, and then my friend didn't need to use a comp pass. SO at right after midnight, I booked my MEP park reservation first, then I tried to cancel my self admit. OOPS I needed to do that cancellation BEFORE midnight. So then I had a MEP and self admit for same day, the next day. They keep track of no shows, and I think block you 30 days after 3 or something. The next morning the CM just scanned me in as both self admit and MEP to clear it without the red flag. (not that it matters, I live in NJ and won't be back for awhile lol).

It is so different there, with park reservations not showing up on the DL app. But we found it to work fine, bought Genie a few days too. They don't give you more than 3 days in MEP park reservations at one time, even if staying in one of the Disney hotels either, wah. With the 100+ degree heat, I think many CMs cancelled so it was easy to use MEP anyway.
