DL or DCA in the rain?

Which park is better on rainy days (i.e., more cover, more indoor rides, more to do, etc.)?

Thanks!

I would say DL is better in the rain. Most of DCA is outside with the exception of Monster's Inc, ToT, and Soarin (and ToT is closed currently). At DL you've got Indy and Space that are both indoors not to mention all the dark rides, HM, and PotC. At DCA you can do AA but at DL you've got Launch Bay and the Princesses.

Definitely DL. More indoor rides, more cover.

Side note - Matterhorn is extremely fun in the rain. Of course, that's closed now for refurb, but for future reference. ;)

DCA is easier to walk through in the rain. Less slippery and uneven surfaces and you can do a lot in the Animation Building without going outside. TSMM and Little Mermaid are also indoors. Frozen is fairly long show so you're inside for a long time. There's also It's Tough to Be a Bug and the preview in the former Muppet theater. WOC is less likely to be canceled in rain than any outdoor show at Disneyland. Both parks are lacking in indoor seating for dining, though. I'd probably leave the park for that.

Agreed, we've always found it much easier to deal w/ rain in DCA than DL. We will also go into the Starbucks to get coffee/snacks and take a break during rain. There are a lot of table service restaurants out of the rain and flos or the burger place by soarin usually have inside space for dining.

These are all great and helpful responses!!! Sounds like we could make it work in either park if it rains this Sunday.

I think they are both good in the rain. DCA has the Frozen show and Disney Junior show, It's Tough to be a Bug, and a fair amount of rides with some cover. Disneyland has Star Wars Launch Bay and the Mickey and the Magical Map show to wait out longer storms, as well as a good chunk of rides with cover. I think Disneyland has more rides with indoor lines, it just depends how you would like to spend your time in the rain. I prefer DCA. Both parks also have indoor places to grab a bite to eat.

Disneyland is beautiful in the rain, you'll get some great pictures of rainy Main Street!

Disneyland is better in the rain. DCA has those big beautiful uncovered paths.
