DL Kennel

We are getting AP and some of the time we will be hitting up DL on our way to and from San Diego from San Jose area. That means our pup will be with us along for those rides. Which means we must stop at DL! How can we pass that up!

I have read about the Kennels. My questions are how many large kennels do they have(I have an 80lb Sheepadoodle who is on the tall side). Also does the line start early to get in the kennels? I read that they open up 30 mins before the park does. Do I need to be in line even earlier than this?

They have quite a few. They would only run out during very peak times. Make sure you have your vaccination records.

My friend has Borzois and the fit comfortably in the kennels.

Minor hijack. Pucka, my sister has a 1 y.o. Sheepadoodle. He is the highest energy big dog I have ever seen. Kind of hoping he mellows out. It's like he has pogo sticks for legs. Can you post a picture?

My pup can be pretty high energy but she is not like that all the time. When we are at home she is pretty calm and usually lounging on the couch... But, she does have her moments! She is just about 2.5yo and the past couple of months she has shown noticeably with more calmness... new people still do excite her!
