DL Jan 2-5????

We are looking at surprising our kids NEXT year with DL. We've been many times, but never during Christmas. How busy is it starting Jan 2nd? We would either drive down on the 1st and start on the 2nd, or drive down the 2nd and start the 3rd. I want to go when it's decorated

Because in 2013 the first is on a Tuesday. DLR will likely be insanely crowded into that week. Where as it end on a weekend this year and crowds start to drop after it.

Arriving on the 2nd of 3rd may help a bit as kids have to get back to school sometime. Not all will be able to get a second week off.
