DL in October

Hey Guys, I'm looking to my West Coasters for some help. We are looking to take our vacation to Cali this year and was wondering what would be the best week in Oct to go to DL not just for parks but for best rates to possibly stay on site. We will most likely be on site from Wed through Fri or Sat. So, any week other than Halloween week, which would be the best week????

I'm not sure about onsite prices. Unlike WDW, it's very different with only 3 DL hotels, and they are all very expensive all year round, although there are different rates. It's much more feasible to stay offsite at DL; some of the offsite hotels across the street are actually closer than DLH or PP.
