DL hours in April...........

Does anyone know why the weekday hours in april are so long? Open until 11pm (4/1-4/13). Open until 10 next two weeks, then back to closing at 8pm during week the next week. To my best knowledge, Spring Break is middle to late March. Is this correct?

While a lot of Spring Breaks are in March this year, there are still quite a few that have early April or mid-April off.

DLR considers mid-Macrh to Mid-April as the Spring Break period. You are correct in reading the long park hours as correlating with Disney's expectations for Spring Break.

Yep, DB and I mistakenly took our first trip of the year in April, during Spring Break... I picked the day, so he never let me live that one down

It's... a little crazy, I'll tell you that much. I'd avoid it if at all possible

Hundreds of high schoolers and college kids... yikes... (not so many younger kids - I'm sure their vacation dates were different).

In WA state we have a Pres Week Break in Feb and then a Spring break 2nd week of April. It's not so bad - the extra shows make it nice. When we went, it like crazy 2 days and we went in our rain gear - very empty. I remember commenting about how busy it was and the castmember laughed and said this was def not busy - I should've seen it 2 weeks ago.
