DL Hotel renovations

We are planning a trip to DL in August 2011. I think we will book at Paradise Pier, but I am also considering the DL Hotel. I have stayed in all 3 DL properties in the past, and liked them all. At PP we had an upper floor room, facing Cal Adv park, and it was great. At DL hotel, we were upgraded to a suite, and could even see the fireworks from the room. At Grand Cal. stayed in a few rooms, once had the DD view which was fun.

My question is about the DL Hotel refurb and construction projects. What will be the status in August 2011? Will all three towers be done? I know the pool will not be done. I would rather stay at PP than an un-re-furbished DL hotel room. Even if all the rooms are done, will many of the rooms look down on resort construction of the grounds? Might be ok, because the rooms look so nice though.

They will probably working on the last tower by then. It is very doubtful that they will have any old rooms left by that time. All of the old rooms should be mid remodel leaving no chance for them to be rented.

That's a long time out I think the grounds will look more done than not as well.
