Ok this may seem like a weird question.... We have a 3 day Park Hopper so my initial thought was to do DL on Tues,Wed,Thurs. On Friday we were doing Seaworld,Sat-Universal.

Is there any benefit to splitting up the 3 days at DL or should we just go for it and do 3 days in a row?????

All opinions welcome!!!

TIA

If you want to cram in as many rides/attractions as possible then IMO doing DLR on Tues/Wed/Thurs is the right approach since crowds will likely be lighter those days. But if you don't mind a more leisurely pace and value variety over volume then I'd be inclined to suggest doing DLR for the first 2 days and then going back on the last day you're in town, after visiting the other two parks. That'll stave off any potential boredom and give you a chance to figure out what you want to do at DLR on your final day.

The other thing to keep in mind is that you'll probably be tired the day after you get back from Seaworld since there's a decent drive in there so whatever park you do after Seaworld would ideally be your "least favorite."

I get not wanting to go to DL on a Saturday, but my vote would be for breaking it up. That is what we are doing with our 3 day park hopper. I know my kids will want to go to DL as soon as we get to Anaheim, so that will be our first two days and then we are taking a break to do the beach, an Angels game and relax. Then we will take our last day of our 3 day hopper.
I think 3 days in a row at DL can be overwhelming and I would like a break. Also, I thing that staying in Anaheim (presuming you're staying in Anaheim the whole time) and not allowing the kids anymore DL time might get them to be "we want to go to DL" at least this way they can have the last day there and if you had talked to people who did something you might not have thought of, then you can do that on your last day.

We did 5 days straight with a City Pass two years ago. Sea World, SD Zoo, and ended up at DL for a Tues/Wed/Thur. By the last day we were pretty run down. We vowed to never cram that much back to back again.

If you don't have room for a down day, I'd probably do it as you have planned.

Are you switching hotels? If not and you're staying near Disneyland the whole time, I would try to break it up some (maybe do DL day, driving to another par day, DL day, other park day, DL day). I wouldn't want to do my driving days back-to-back. If you really didn't want to DL on Saturday, then maybe do SW on Thursday and DL again on Friday. However, pay attention to SW's schedule as well (I know they often close earlier on weekdays).

I think that is a good idea to mix it up,although I can't see my kids getting bored at DL but you never know :confused3

We are utilizing Grayline Tours for SW and UHS, so we can sit back and enjoy the scenary and not worry about traffic or worse getting lost:)

Good points, we are staying based in Anaheim..

The only down day we wil have is the day we arrive...

I did check the calendars for SW and UHS and they both have later park hours in July and Early August,so thats nice :)
