Does anyone know where one might rent an ECV for DL?? Off site?

Not exactly. ECV stands for Electric Convenience Vehicle (although many people who use them consider thema necessity, not a convenience). It's also called an electric scooter. I drives with a yoke, sort of like steering a bicycle, so it is easier to use than a power wheelchair.
I don't know where you can rent them off site at DL, but if you go to the official Disney site, you can down load information about DL using one. Look under Guest Services and you should find information about travel with a disbaility.
