DL and CA at Christmas suggestions

Hello everyone,
My daughter is turning 21 in December, and does she want to go to Vegas? Noo!!! We are going to Disneyland for the first time since before the pandemic. We have hotel on Harbor and tickets booked for Dec. 19-22. We are super excited to be there leading up to Christmas, although I know the crowds will be large. In the past, we would go for 3 days, but we increased it to 4 days to account for the crowds. We have 1 park per day tickets (since we're not big on park hopping) and we are planning 1 day at CA and 3 days at DL since that's our favorite park. We also purchased Genie+. Any recommendations for what to visit 1st at each park to maximize our time? There will be 6 of us (youngest is 17 years old, so no small children) and we plan to go back to the hotel for a short break in the afternoon so we can stay late.

I would definitely plan on doing drinks at Trader Sam's during part of the visit. The 17 year old can enter if it's before 8pm (I believe that's the cutoff for minors, others can correct me if not). They have fun mocktails too.

Hearthstone Lounge at GCH is also stunning and worth a stop. You can order food here too (it's excellent).

I don't have too much advice on efficiency since I haven't visited in 3 years and I'm sure loads of things have changed. I'll find out when we visit in November!

For Christmas specifically, I wouldn't miss the Christmas parade, world of color seasons of light, the holiday fireworks, and the parade (I forget the name) that they do in DCA. There will also be lots of Christmas treats and special food to be found. Watch for the foodie giuide which will probably come out the first week in November.

I second trader sams! Also Ogas cantina for a drink would be cool too as a new 21 year old.

Festival of Holidays is great at CA especially for turning 21! Lots of variety of alcoholic drinks from different cultures and the food options are amazing. You can buy a sip and savor pass and though it isn’t valid on alcohol it can be a good deal. I don’t think you need to get everyone a pass especially for 1 day. My husband and I usually split one.
