DIY: Custom Closets? How difficult?

We're moving into a new home at the end of this month, and #1 on my wife's list is to upgrade the MBR closet. We did it in our current home 10 years ago and it was a few thousand dollars. I'm guessing ~ $4000. And as much as we absolutely loved our closet, we're not going to spend that much this time.

And if you used the above company, was it as easy as their video makes it look?

My friend just did these closets in her children's rooms. They came out great! She also said the installation wasn't too difficult. She used the white laminate and did some custom configurations for their games/toys as well as more traditional layouts for the hanging clothing.

I am seriously considering doing this for our MBR walk-in.

My sister and her DH put in something similar in their master closet several years ago. It was pretty easy-just kind of putsy with the measuring, drilling, etc. They did their closest in a day or so.
