We had a great time on our Wonder cruise over the 4th of July, but I just wanted to mention another highlight of our trip.

Per the many recommendations here, after a day of touring at the Kennedy Space Center, we ate at the Dixie Crossroads in Titusville. We had a wonderful meal and great service, but what really impressed me was the beautiful mural covering the entire outside wall facing the parking lot. I don't know if anyone mentioned it here before, but wow! I took a couple of pictures of it - and now I find that it's on their website for all to enjoy. I wish I could hang this picture up in my living room somehow!!!

Anyhow, for those who haven't seen it - go to http://dixiecrossroads.org/mural/index.html.

Later - JoAnn in Iowa

Try this link if the one above does not work. http://www.dixiecrossroads.org/mural/mural02/index.htm

We were there on one of our visits and we were watching the painting being done, it was one time I didn't have my camera with me. We also took a nice quite walk through the garden after our meals. During one of our other visits, we even got to see some butterflies come out of their cocoons.

In 7 weeks, after our August 23rd cruise is over, we will be stopping at Dixie Crossroads for lunch before heading to MCO for our flight home. Gotta have my "ROCK SHRIMP!!!"

Where exactly is this place - how do you get there?

Here is a map showing where Dixie Crossroads is in Titusville, Florida. It is roughly a 20-30 minute drive north of Cape Canaveral.
