Dive-In Movies question

We will be at the HRH for two Dive-in Movies, Friday & Sat April 16-17. They are showing Twilight and New Moon It says that they start at approximately sun-down. How busy are these and how early should we be there to get a good sitting area? Any tips we should know about?


Really looking forward to this. We are used to hanging out late at the Disney parks and getting to our room late. We were kinda bummed that the US/IOA parks close so early. This gives us something interesting to do at night!

You should get a definite start time when you check in. Also every morning there is a daily activity board posted as you walk out to the pool. I'm surprised they already have the movie schedule, thats pretty good for HRH.

I'm guessing this will be a high occupancy time with spring break. Even still, we have been there during that time and there has always been room and chairs available. Most of the kids will be watching in the pool anyway. I have never seen the area overcrowded at movie time.

Also wanted to mention that each of the resorts have dive-in movies and you can visit those too if you wanted.

Sounds like we won't need to fight for a seat...I am liking the sounds of this laid-back US/IOA vacation more and more ...

How do you find out when/what the Dive-In movies are? Is there a schedule somewhere? We'll be at PBH at the end of April and I think my kids would love this!

The Hard Rock sent me an email with the April calendar on it! I did read somewhere on here that they post the schedules at the check in counter so you can see what is playing where....if you want to pm me your email I address, i can foward the april hard rock calendar to you if you would like It is only for the Hard Rock Hotel tho
