Dive in Movie?? Sounds great!

I keep seeing this mentioned, can anyone please explain? We'll be at the HRH in June, is this a nightly occurance? Also, where could we find out what movies are playing and if they are age appropriate for our " 'tweeners"? Thanks in advance. This sounds awesome, especially for folks old enough to remember "DRIVE IN's"

The dive-in movie is usually once a week. They set up a large screen poolside and show a movie in the evening, weather permitting.

The movies are usually very kid friendly, as they can't exclude kids from the pool area. The one we saw at the Hardrock last summer was the old version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

You can just ask at the front desk when the movie will show and what it will be.

thanks a bunch! We arrive on a Monday, depart Friday morning, we have learned our lesson about theme parks on weekends. Hopefully it will happen on an evening when we are there.

We saw Back to the Future. The Dive In Movies are held on weekend evenings. During the summer months this may change and maybe they do it more than once a week.

We were at RPR in Feb. They showed Madagascar by the pool on Friday night.

the dive in movies are only shown either on a friday or a saturday.

the day changes at times so call in advance if you need to know if it will be shown on a friday or saturday.

when i was on the club level last year, my room faced the movie at the pool.

PBH even has them at 2 different pools. That's what I'm trying to find out for our next stay.

i think the hotel knows 2 weeks in advance the date the dive in will be shown.
