distinguishing DISers in parks?

Wow... what great luck... and that her daughter noticed it too! must be mommy is on the disboards alot!

well i have only been on these boards since jan. when i booked my families first trip..... i put my green mickey heads back to back and wrote "DIS" on them and laminated them and punched a whole in and tied a lime green ribbon on it and hung it from my back pack..... while my dd 9 and i were waiting for my dd15 and dh to get off of space mt. a little girl was sitting with her mother and she says to her mom " look mommy a green mickey head" i looked at her and smiled and then her mom says "are you a diser?" i said yes i am but i was new to the whole thing...... so we chatted for a bit and they were very very nice!! so i was one of the lucky ones!!! my very first trip i met a diser...... but im so bad at names i forgot her screen name so i can chat with her online too.....so if your out there send me a pm. i think it was between the days of march 4-10.... it was in front of space mt. and your little girl was wearing a princess dress.... she was very cute also!!! i think you were from ohio too..... vicki

Question-I got my Home Depot paint swatch. What color do you prefer? Alien Green or Sonic Boom?

Unfortunately, we don't have Home Depot, we don't even have Mickey Mouse alien green paint

So, I tied a limegreen ribbon to my backpack last week... but wasn't approached by anyone

BUT!!! At some point, I spotted a green Mickey-head, I took all the "courage" I have and went to that lady and said: are you a DISser? Because I am! So, I met one other DISser, and it was really nice.

I did see many people wearing limegreen shirts and so, but I think that is because lime green is about "the" color this spring, and not because they are all on the DIS. Next time I plan a vacation in the US, I'll choose a hotel next to a HD, so that I can get alien green Mickey heads.
You think they sell them on eBay??? :

I took one of the Alien Green Mickey's and scanned it. Then enlarged it and made my own Iron ons from my printer to put on a couple of Tee Shirts. I also reduced it and am having it stiched onto a ball cap at the mall front and back.

Woohoo! I mentioned this to my wife just now and it turns out, she already has a stack of the mickey heads! I found one of the Alien Green, one Sonic Boom and 2 Friendly Forests. I'm going to head there to see if I can snag the remaining 3 Alien Green samples, but if not, would wearing an alternate green be acceptable?

I wore my lime green shirt frequently and never went anywhere without my Dis sponsor pin worn proudly all during my last trip. I did meet one Diser who was a CM at the Tower of Terror. From reading the boards I know there were alot of Disers there the same time, but we must have been at different places and missed each other or they saw me and thought my family and I were nuts and didn't want to approach us

I just put my dis alien green mickeys together today. Now I am officially ready for our trip

I put mine in my bag for Aug................yes I am crazy!

Here's the 'Alien" green mickey head from Home depot. I did them a favor grabbing a few, because I'm sure it can't be too popular for a paint color! There were quite alot there. Must not be any Dis'ers nearby.
