distinguishing DISers in parks?

this may be the dumbest question ever but, how exactly is it that we DISers establish ourselves as such while visiting the parks? Thanks

many go to Home Depot and "borrow" a few paint samples. They have Disney paint samples shaped like Mickey's head. The Disers get the alien green mickey ones. Then you can cut out/laminate/whatever and wear them on your hat, shirt, bag, etc. Some leave them the way they are and laminate them to use as luggage tags also.

We will all be sporting our alien Mickey's when we go in 9 days!!!!

That's a easy question,look for the adults with bigger smiles than thier kids and look like thier having a better time than most of the kids in the park,thats a disser!!Also instead of the kids draging the parents around saying I want to go here or do this,It will be reversed with the adult draging the kids around saying i want to go here or do this to the kids,that also will be a disser.Also the adult who suddenly becomes a tour guide while waiting on lines for rides pointing out hidden mickeys or other things while in line,that too is a disser.

Very true! That's me!
I looked for green mickey's everywhere during my spring break trip and didn't see one! I however, ran out of time and didn't make it to Home Depot myself! Shame on me!

Or any tshirt that is being worn by a whole group --- unless it's a group tour sorta thing.

I'm going to stick my cell phone # and resort info on the back of some green mickey's and then laminate them. Use a hole punch at the top and I'll have my kids wear them as necklaces/id tags if they get lost and DIS ID's!

Huh... I always thought it was bright green ribbon. Who are the geniuses that came up with the Home Depot paint chips?! Last time we were down, I had a bright green ribbon and puffy painted "The DIS" on it, and attached to the part of my purse that faces backwards.

Gonna have to go me some of those paint chips! Wahoo! I woke up to the cats playing with the vertical blinds (brats) and couldn't go back to sleep becuase I'm so excited. It's that whole, "I'm too excited to sleep" business!

okay I got a new one that happened yesterday at the travel agents office - DISers are the ones telling the agent how the free DDP works, what dates the MNSSHP are on, which specific buildings at her resorts she wants to be in, what time the parks open, and the correct ride names...my travel agent offered me a job yesterday!

there's only one home depot around here and i think the guy in the paint department is starting to get a clue about what i'm doing...lol! I went in 3 times last week and (Permanently) borrowed some paint Samples...
hehehe...i think i'll send in DFi next time

The idea about laminating them is a fantastic idea!! Gonna have to do that myself this time around. But know I have a question... How do you approach another diser?? Laugh if you have to, I can just hear the lines after this but really! has anyone seen another diser at the parks and struck up conversation. I looked last year on our vacation and didn't see anyone... saw a couple lime green tee shirts but figured they would think I was from mars if I just walked up and asked if they were "disers!!"....

I always have pronouced it like I was ABOUT to say DISNEY and just stop at the DIS .....

I would be THRILLED and probably SCREAM if I actually met a DISer in WDW or on a CRUISE!!!

Okay, despite the fact my trip is months months away...I going to HOME DEPOT and I am going NOW!!!!

If I met another Diser I would have a hard time not walking up and giving thema hug! I mean... we all share the same bond that is very strong... our love for Disney. And if your going to were your "colors" proudly than you must love it just as much as me and so it's almost a familial relation...

well i have only been on these boards since jan. when i booked my families first trip..... i put my green mickey heads back to back and wrote "DIS" on them and laminated them and punched a whole in and tied a lime green ribbon on it and hung it from my back pack..... while my dd 9 and i were waiting for my dd15 and dh to get off of space mt. a little girl was sitting with her mother and she says to her mom " look mommy a green mickey head" i looked at her and smiled and then her mom says "are you a diser?" i said yes i am but i was new to the whole thing...... so we chatted for a bit and they were very very nice!! so i was one of the lucky ones!!! my very first trip i met a diser...... but im so bad at names i forgot her screen name so i can chat with her online too.....so if your out there send me a pm. i think it was between the days of march 4-10.... it was in front of space mt. and your little girl was wearing a princess dress.... she was very cute also!!! i think you were from ohio too..... vicki
