Distance/travel to Knotts from Sheraton

We are getting an EARLY start for May 2011 for what will be only our 2nd trip to DLR. Our plans are to stay at the Sheraton, do DL for 3 days and have another 4 or 5 days to see some sites. My son really wants to go to Knotts, so we may do that for 2 days. We will not have our own car, at least that's the plan right now, and was wondering how far it is to Knotts, and the best way to get there.

Which Sheraton are you staying at - there are three in the area.

900 South Disneyland Drive, located almost adjacent to the parks.

Since my first post, I found that it's only about 10 minutes away, but still need advice on best way to get there.

Looks like you're staying at the Sheraton Anaheim? I really like that hotel.

It is 5-10 minutes away to get to Knotts, provided you are driving. Take the I-5 freeway (literally next to the Sheraton) north to the 91 West, and get off on Beach Blvd. Turn left, get in the right hand lane, and drive into the park.
