Distance to the Beaches

We want to take the kids to the beach for their first time!! Which beaches are the best and how long does it take to get to them from Orlando? We considered going on the day we fly in because we have nothing else to do that day. (it will be a Monday)

90 minutes to a couple of hours - depending upon the traffic and construction.

I like the Tampa area - Clearwater Beach (make sure you are going to the beach) - this is the gulf side.

others like the ocean side - Daytona Beach, Coca Beach.

Hi.
It only takes about 45 minutes to get to Cocoa Beach. Add about 15 minutes if you are coming from WDW. Take the Bee Line expy!
