Distance from POFQ to DTD

Hi: I was wondering...

How far is the boat ride from POFQ to DTD? Is it possible to grab a few drinks and bring them back. I have to have my Mojito's!

It's a 20 minute boat ride one way. Don't think it would be worth it to run and get mojitos just to bring them back to POFQ.

Oogieboogie, have you stayed at FQ before? What did you think of it? My family and I are going to FQ in Sept. It's our first Disney trip!

BTW, my hometown is Akron! Live in Tennessee now, but still have family in NE Ohio. Graduated from Garfield High. Although I love Tennessee, I miss a lot about Akron, especially being close to Jacobs Field and the Tribe. Hopefully they will put the dreaded Sox in their place tonight and make it 10 in a row! Go Tribe!!!

I love POFQ. It's one of my favorite resorts. I like that it's small and compact and that it doesn't take very long to get to the food court. My kids like the pool and the I found the food court was nice and big.

One big plus for POFQ was the bus system. Although POFQ and POR share buses, POFQ gets picked up and dropped off first! If you request a building, go for building 5 or 2, it's the closest to the pool, but building 4 is closest to the bus stop.

I live in Akron but not originally from here. I moved here for my job. I do like that it's small enough not to have a rush hour but big enough to have things that normally a big city would have. I also like that it's close to the big cities like Cleveland and Pittsburgh (even if they are the dreaded Steelers!)
