If Fantasmic is at 8pm, would a 9pm ADR at Flying Fish be pushing it?

How long would it take to walk to FF from MGM?

And how long to drive?

Thanks

I think it'll be pushing it a little.
By the time you get out of the show it'll probably at least around 8:30 if not later especially with the crowds. And then you can either walk it or wait for the boat - unless you have a car. The boat will take you longer sometimes because it stops at Swan/Dolphin, Beach/Yacht and then BW. If you are still thinking of doing the boat instead of walking (it's a good hike over to FF), get off at S/D and then walk to FF. It's faster than waiting for the boat to go all the way over the BW.

Have fun!

I think the timing will be tight, mainly due to crowds. Exiting the stadium and reaching the front of the park will take time.

If you take the boat (even part way) you may not get on the first boat.

If you take your car you still have to take the tram to the car and you could miss the first tram.

Walking offers less impediments, but it is a good hike from MGM to the Boardwalk.

They will hold your ADR for up to 30 minutes. But if you could change it to 9:15 or 9:30 you will be closer to the real time you can get there.

Yes, it would be pushing it. As others have mentioned, you still have the crowds slowing you down on the way out of the theater. Once outside the park, if you walk, well it takes us 13 minutes from DHS gates to the clown slide at the pool at BW, at a reasonable pace. If it is raining or windy, that would not be a great walk to look forward to.

If you get lucky, and catch the first boat leaving (which is doubtful), the boat ride to S/D is 8 minutes, then you could exit there, and walk over to FF (figure another 5 minutes of walking).

The drive is quick, but how long will the lines be leaving, from the parking lot, after having to take the tram to get to your car? Nobody knows.

I'd suggest trying for a later ADR. Even 9:15 would give you more breathing room. 9:00 is just too close.
