We are considering a stay at Marriot's Village d'lle-de-France. Can someone tell me how far it is from the Parks? How useful is the **free** shuttle they provide to the parks? We eill have our own car, so I am considering just driving to the parks each day instead.
Also, can we make use of the extra hour of magic if we stay here?

TIA!!

The Marriott is about 1.5 miles from the main Car Park. I have not used the bus there, but I often choose to drive instead. The only way you can enjoy extra magic hours while staying at the Marriott is if you purchase a Dream Annual Passport which also includes free parking.

Thanks Dave!

I am actually looking into buying a dream annual passport. I need to do more research on this site about it...it looks like it is not much more than a 3 day park hopper pass, and I can get a free annual pass for my son who is 5 years old. Definately a good deal if I read all that correctly.

Yep, the Fantasy pass is about the same price as a 3 day pass, and the Dream is 50 euros more. But the Dream offers access 365 days a year, extra magic hours, 20% discount in the shops, free parking (also at the hotels), free pushchair/wheelchair and left luggage, free Kir Vin in the table service restaurants, 10% discount in restaurants, 10 - 30% off hotels, and free special events. We have had 7 now despite living in the UK, it's totally worth it.

What a great deal! So if you stay in an offsite hotel and buy Dream passes, you can still benefit from extra magic hours? Is that right? How come the 5 year-old's pass would be free?
We've stayed at the Marriott twice now and love it. The first time we went we used the free shuttle on the first day but found the timetable for the buses rather limited and very constraining so we used our car for the rest of the holiday.

The free AP deal is for under 7's (it is advertised on the French DLP website and you need to mention it or they will charge you).

The AP is a wonderful bargain and is totally worth it if someone is going to spend more than 3 days a year at DLP.

The Dream AP does indeed give you access to the Extra Magic Hours

Thanks! That sounds like a very good deal to me! A bit sneaky that they will charge you if you don't ask: not very 'Disney' of them!

We have used the shuttle bus each time we have visited and although it is not as frequent as those serving the explorers and holiday in it's always fitted in ok for us.

A car might be handy for returning in the afternoon though.:goodvibes
