Distance from Epcot to Contemporary?

Can someone tell me how long it will take to get from Epcot to the Concourse steakhouse? This is where we have dinner reservations as we can't get into LeCellier and I have a friend who really wants a good steak. We also have reservations for Yachtsmans Steakhouse later in the week. Would you recommend staying in Epcot for dinner? Thanks

if you take the monorail it would take about 15 minutes to get to the cr. yachtsmans is very good for steak. plus very close to epcot. if you want to stay in epcot itself for dinner check out france, the food there is wonderful!

You could take the monorail to the TTC, then transfer to the resort line..it could take up to an hour. If you're in WS, you could just walk over to BC and take the bus to MK then walk to CR via the walkway, about an 8 min walk.

I guess it depends on whether or not you plan on going back to the Epcot after dinner. If so, then I would skip Concourse steakhouse or go another night. It would be much easier to just eat somewhere else in WS or walk over to Yachtsman's Steakhouse.

I would stick with eating at the Concourse. It will be closing soon and you should get one last meal in there! Just hop on the monorail from Epcot to the Ticket and Transportation Center and then get on the Resort Monorail and that will take you to the Contemporary. Just allow enough time to get there before your ADR!

Five minutes maybe - its a short walk.

You could also go to Shula's Steakhouse in the Dolphin. It's walking distance from Epcot and it has probably the best steak among the steakhouses on Disney property.

If you’re a good swimmer, you can make it in 10 minutes.

I 2nd this idea....Shula's steaks are the best!!!! And within walking distance to Epcot. Or ride the boat.

Shula's is hands-down the best. Concourse is ok. Service is very good.

If you do want to stick with the Concourse, it should only take you about 20-30 minutes max to get to the podium from the Epcot Monorail station.

But it also can take 20-25 minutes or so to walk from one end of Epcot to the other, so a lot depends on where you are in the park. So just factor that into your calculations. Same holds of course if you decide on the Yachtsman or Shula's... allow enough time to get to the International Gateway from wherever you are in the park.
