Distance from DLH to DL

I might be able to find this somewhere else, but what is the distance from the Disneyland Hotel to Disneyland Park?

I'm sure the exact distance is probably in the FAQ section, but in general it's just about a 5 minute stroll through Downtown Disney (depending on how slow or fast you walk, maybe 10 minutes).

I'd put the walk at more like 10 minutes. But then again, with all the distractions as you go through DTD, it might be longer. I'm not sure that we ever did that walk (in early November) without stopping to at least look in the window of some of the shops.

It's also about a 2 minute walk to the DTD monorail station that takes you right into Tomorrowland.

Totally true, but...not always usable. Monorail isn't always open when you need it, and sometimes when it IS running they have problems. We got up to the line just as one monorail was leaving, got upstairs, started to wait, and a bit later they announced that the next one coming in was being taken offline, so we'd need to wait for the following one, which would mean about a 20 minute wait. Yeah, right!

As we left (quicker to walk!) I noticed that there were people in line *on* the stairs, which meant they would be waiting until the people in the enclosure got on a monorail, then those people would be allowed into the enclosure, then they'd have to wait even longer. 20 for a usable monorail to come in, then, what, another 10 if they had two running, or possibly even longer if they only had one? Yeek!


The other issue with the distance through DTD is that there's no straight shot. Along with dodging other people, you're also weaving through their meandering path, having to go around planters and things like the Uva Bar, etc.

Doesn't add much time, but if you're a person like me, it adds to a maddening effect.
